Day 1

Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (Dinner)

Welcome to Saigon! You will be met at the airport and transferred to hotel in Sai Gon. After checking into the hotel, the rest of the day is yours to dicover by cyclo.
Option 1: Explore Ho Chi Minh City’s historic by the locals, and experience the city as it was before the war. Traveling by cyclo which is the typical pedicabs of the city, experience local life up close, stopping to enjoy tasty food. Ho Chi Minh City Tour visits the War Remnants Museum – originally opened in September 1975, it displays old military equipment and other related items from Vietnam War. We continue to visit the Reunification Palace, formerly known as the Presidential Palace that was the sight of South Vietnam’s Surrender in April 1975. Walk down to see Notre Dame Cathedral and General Post Office which are beautiful examples of architecture from the French colonial period. After that, you transfer to local restaurant for enjoying Vietnamese noodles soup – Phở. Back hotel, free time for leisure.

Option 2: Explore Ho Chi Minh City’s historic Chinatown, named Cho Lon, by the local transport. Feel the hustle and bustle of street vendors selling a mixture of herbs for traditional medicine. Snake your way down tiny alleys on the agile vehicles, passing many small, family-run businesses. Come in the 250-year-old Lady Thien Hau Temple (God of the Sea). Then you have time for shopping at Binh Tay Market. Enjoy Vietnamese noodles soup – Phở. Back hotel, free time for leisure.

Day 2

Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta ( My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho) (B, L)

Pick-up from your centrally located hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Then head to the city of My Tho by bus. During the 1.5-hour bus drive to My Tho, learn about the cultures of the local people and enjoy the nice scenery of green rice fields. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Mekong Delta. Continue to My Tho and take a boat trip along Mekong River. During the cruise, see fish cages and floating houses on the river. The boat will take you to a small canal, where you can escape the busy town. The cruise through the coconut trees lined canal will take you to a coconut island in Ben Tre. Disembark, walk around the village and visit a local family to enjoy tropical fruit, taste honey tea, honey wine and listen to Vietnamese traditional music, performed by the villagers.Continue walking on the village’s road to a coconut candy shop to learn how to make candy and see some handicrafts made from coconut trees. Take a walk through the village and discover many kinds of fruits, flowers, trees, and local houses. Take your time and take nice photos while enjoying the natural scenery.
Then, head to a local restaurant and enjoy a local Vietnamese lunch under the tree shade. After lunch, have free time to walk or bike around the village, then travel by bus to Can Tho, the heart of Mekong Delta.

Day 3

Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)

Enjoy a 6:30 AM breakfast and then take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river. After, proceed to visit the Cai Rang floating market, which is the liveliest in the whole region. Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals. Next, you will roam through the village, see fruit gardens and visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. Then, head back to the riverside for lunch before traveling back to Ho Chi Minh where you will arrive at around 5:00 PM with unforgettable memories.

Day 4

Half Day Cu Chi Tunnels (B)

Start: 8.30am – Return: 3.00pm
We depart from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi Tunnels for 60km from Ho Chi Minh city. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti – American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220 km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreigner.
The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers along the side of road. You will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, when Cu Chi was “A Free Target Zone “. The remnants you will see that Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there. Ever wonder what it feels like to fire an AK-47? Visit Cu chi tunnels, you have a chance to find out!
Back Ho Chi Minh city, free time for leisure.
